The problem
I was approached by this start-up to come on board as technical lead to provide expertise both in terms of website design, identity design, development and technical support, SEO and marketing. They had a great idea but not the skills to bring it to life in a digital sense.
The Solution
I put in place a full suite of IT solutions in including website with full CMS backend, A customer CRM, Internal communication systems and stripe payment system. I also developed a complete branding package. The start-up hoped to compete in the tourism/business/review/promotion/advertising niche taking on industry giants like Google, Yelp & Trip Advisor but for a local market.
The Result
The website was launched towards the end of 2015 and received great feedback. It had almost 1000 listings and things looked very promising. However due to a lack of funding the enterprise has to be closed in 2017.
